The President CB radio transceivers are provided with a cerificate conformity with harmonized European standards, as according to the requirements of the directives:

  • (1999/5/EC and 2014/53/EU)
  • 2002/95/EC RoHS Directive and 2011/65/EU RoHS2 Directive - Restriction of Hazardous Subtances in electrical and electronic equipment.
  • 2002/96/EC and 2012/19/EU WEEE Directive - Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

In application of European directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS directive) and 2011/65/EU (RoHS2 directive) relating to the limitation of the use of certain dangerous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, the maximum concentration values allowed for these substances were fixed by a decision of the European Commission of August 18, 2005 (Publication in the Official Journal of the European Union, JOUE L 214 of August 19, 2005 -2005/618/EC).

According to the requirements of the European RoHS directive supplemented by this decision, producers (manufacturers, importers or distributors selling under their own brand) placing electrical and electronic equipment on the European market must ensure that the following hazardous substances they may contain, do not exceed in concentration by homogeneous material, the values indicated in the table below.

As a reminder, the products concerned by the European RoHS directive are:

  • Small household appliances (fryers, toothbrushes, vacuum cleaners, etc.),
  • Large household appliances (washing machines, microwave ovens, refrigerators, etc.),
  • IT and telecommunications equipment (computer, cell phones, etc.),
  • Consumer products (TV sets, etc.),
  • Lighting elements,
  • Electrical and electronic tools (trimmers, screwdrivers, etc.),
  • Toys, leisure and sports equipment,
  • etc.

Pre-cookie consent
